This policy explains how ControlNow AS uses cookies and similar technologies on controlnow.ai, and how you can manage your choices. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways. They help a site function and, where you allow it, help the operator understand how the site is used.
2. How we use them
We keep cookie use to a minimum. We use:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on and do not require consent.
- Analytics (consent-based) — to understand which pages are useful and improve the site. These are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Until you accept analytics, Google Analytics runs with storage consent denied: it writes no cookies and no identifier for you. Declining keeps it that way. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, or data sharing for advertising purposes.
The exact analytics cookies present depend on your consent and may change as we refine the site; this table is kept current.
4. Managing your choices
When you first visit, the Cookiebot banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page, which reopens the banner. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and takes effect immediately. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some essential features may then not work as intended.
Cookiebot records each consent decision, including its date and the version of the banner shown, so that consent can be documented if you or a supervisory authority ask us to.
5. Third parties
Some cookies are set by processors who act on our behalf — principally HubSpot (forms, scheduling, CRM) and Google (Google Analytics 4, for aggregate site usage measurement). Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy and their own notices.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The "last updated" date reflects the current version.
